World Book Day March 6th 2025

We had lots of famous characters in school this year, for World Book Day!  The costumes were great and the children had great fun talking about all their favourite books ! We were also lucky enough to have a visit from local author/illustrator Sarah Bowie who helped us sketch our own characters.

Red Kettle visit

Pupils in the Mercy were treated to a visit from Red Kettle this week. Our whole school got to attend and even perform in their production of “How to steal the World”. Staff and pupils alike enjoyed every minute. We have lots of talented actors here in the Mercy School!
