Incubator Project

We are very excited to be hatching chicks ???? here in the Mercy. Nore Valley farm have delivered seven eggs, in an incubator and we will watch them hatch into chicks over the course of 21 days . Today is day 14- keep watching here for updates . Exciting times here in the senior school.

Central library visit

Ms Murtagh’s 3rd class attended the Waterford central library today in conjunction with Grow HQ. We learned all about the importance of looking after the environment and  how to grow your own food! They had great fun and started their gardening journey by planting peas! It was a lovely morning.

World Book Day March 6th 2025

We had lots of famous characters in school this year, for World Book Day!  The costumes were great and the children had great fun talking about all their favourite books ! We were also lucky enough to have a visit from local author/illustrator Sarah Bowie who helped us sketch our own characters.
