Roinn B Camogie County Champions 2023

Cheers of celebration rang out across the Mercy today as the news came through that our school team had won the Cumann na mBunscol County Championship.

The team travelled to Fraher field in Dungarvan this morning, followed by three buses of supporters from 5th and 6th classes.

The game threw in at 10:30am and the girls played against Tallow, Roinn B West Waterford Champions. The Mercy girls gave it their all from the start and won the final. The team arrived back to the school where they were met with rapturous applause. All of the classes, from 3rd to 6th,  lined the front of the school to give the team a fantastic homecoming.

We are so proud of all of the girls on the school team. They were fantastic all year, training after school in all weather conditions. A big thank you to Ms Falconer and Ms Deegan for giving up their time, after school, to train the team.
