Our Lady of Mercy Senior National School is proud to promote student voice and participation within our school through the formation of our student council. Our student council currently has 15 members who were elected democratically by their peers to represent our 14 classes. Our student council have been hard at work this year representing the school during our most recent mayoral visit, encouraging healthy lunches within their classes and helping to monitor energy usage alongside the Green Schools Committee. Our next task will be to promote safer internet usage around the school as part of Safer Internet Day 2023.
